Things to Know

  • The Three Knot Elephant is a luxury mobile massage business based in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania (18017) and surrounding areas up to 40 miles.  In-home massage offers all the benefits of a spa experience with none of the traveling and waiting. Ultimately, flexible and convenient for your busy schedule. 

  • A wellness routine that comes right to your door. The Three Knot Elephant provides everything needed to perform a rejuvenating massage. A warming table, fresh linen, aromatherapy, massage oil, hot stones and towels and soothing spa music. 

  • Pre-booking is recommended to secure the desired date and time. Same day appointments will show if available. Book on-demand with as little as a 3-hour notice or up to 60 days in advance.

  • I will arrive within 15-20 minutes before your scheduled appointment time to set up. You will receive a hands-on massage for the time scheduled. This will be followed by check-out, treatment recommendations, cleanup and departure. Luxury in your living room!

  • There are no refunds on services.  Once a service is paid for, it can be rescheduled or gifted to someone else, but it cannot be refunded.

  • Comfort on your schedule.

5 Mobile Massage Requirements:

  • Close by or nearby parking to home/facility. 

  • Massage set up must only be on the first floor home/facility; unless elevator is provided.

  • Room should only consist of the client and the Massage Therapist for the duration of the session.

  • Pets must be secured or put away for a session.

  • A decent amount of space for a Massage Table.

Booking Policy

Booking with The Three Knot Elephant means you are agreeing to our terms of service.
Please note a small travel fee may be applied when booking an appointment depending on location. Travel fee starts at $20 and goes up $10 every 15 miles that I have to travel from Bethlehem, PA. 

 

A Deposit is required when booking an appointment. The deposit will be reflected on the final invoice at the end of service. A credit or debit card will be placed on file for deposit to be collected. In the case of cancellation, the credit or debit card on file will be used for cancellation fee. Please see cancellation policy for more information. 

 

All Guests must demonstrate ethical behavior. Service providers will immediately terminate the service if any inappropriate comments or behaviors are displayed.

Cancellation & No Show Policy

We require at least 24 hours notice to cancel an appointment. Clients who cancel an appointment with less than 24 hours notice will be billed 50% of the price of the scheduled service. Clients who do not show up for a scheduled appointment or notify us in advance will be billed for the full price of the scheduled service. We understand that emergencies and illnesses can arise, therefore last minute cancellations due to things such as verifiable emergencies, illnesses or inclement weather will generally not result in any missed session charges, however this is to be determined at the
practitioner's discretion.

Draping Policy

Clients will be appropriately draped with a sheet and/or towel at all times during their massage. Only areas of the body that are currently being treated will be exposed. The breast and genital areas will always remain draped and are never massaged.

Late Arrival Policy

All scheduled appointments will end at the scheduled ending time in order for us to stay on schedule. Please note that your Mobile Massage Therapist will arrive 15 minutes prior to scheduled appointment for set up and intake session. Being available and present for scheduled appointments is required. Clients who are not present or arrive late to their scheduled appointments will be charged for the full session and will not receive a time extension.  Please plan accordingly once booking an appointment. 

Massage Termination

Only professional massage and bodywork services for relaxation or therapeutic purposes are offered at this massage practice. Massage services will be terminated immediately in the event of inappropriate conduct of any kind. This includes harassment, threatening speech or behavior, sexual advances or requests, or disrespectful actions or language. A session will not be conducted if the client is under the influence of drugs or alcohol. If the massage is terminated for any of these reasons, full payment for the scheduled session is still required.

Cleanliness

The Three Knot Elephant is committed to providing a clean and safe environment for you to relax. All equipment is sanitized before and after every massage.  All linen is fresh and clean for individual use.
